Becoming a member of NAMTA offers you many opportunities for professional development. There are several general meetings throughout the year which include workshops, lectures, and master classes.

NAMTA also offers a professional support system. You have the opportunity to build a community with your fellow teachers.

As a member of NAMTA, you also have the opportunity to be involved in rewarding events for your students. Festivals, auditions, and competitions help students in their musical endeavors and maintain a standard of excellence in teaching.

Apply for NAMTA membership by filling out the MTNA application form. On the form select Tennessee and Nashville Area Music Teachers Association (NAMTA) as your state and local affiliate.
