For the 2024 Competition

The 2025 Young Artist Achievement Awards competition was held on Saturday, May 10 2025.

A Superior rating at the 2025 local Tennessee Teacher’s National Association audition was the eligibility requirement for entrants.

K-6 Grand Prize Winner: Hannah Chou, violin - student of Christina McGann
7-12 Grand Prize Winner: Colin Xie, piano - student of Jama Reagan


Piano K-2: Nathan Park, student of Derek Hartman
Piano 3-4: Dustin Liu, student of Jama Reagan
Piano 5-6: Matthew Chen, student of Susan Yang
Piano 7-8: Tyler Schwartz, student of Jama Reagan
Piano 9-10: Colin Xie, student of Jama Reagan
Piano 11-12: Abigail Rexer, student of Valerie Middleton and Jama Reagan


Strings K-2: Diya Agarwal, student of Dana Meyer
Strings 3-4: Kerina Li, student of Christina McGann
Strings 5-6: Hannah Chou, student of Christina McGann
Strings 7-8: Sofia Jensen, student of Christina McGann
Strings 9-10: Eric Jensen, student of Christina McGann
Strings 11-12: Not awarded
